Born and raised in New York City, C.J. Gillett is a first-generation author of Belizean heritage, who writes novels and short stories for children and young adult audiences. His ultimate goal: Inspire kids to write their own stories!
When he isn’t writing, he works as a physical therapist. He also enjoys traveling and learning more about other cultures around the world.

This is a remarkable story of a cat that faces challenges we
all face today. The author does a very good job taking us to the island of Belize,
and the illustrations are amazing. My grandchildren loved the story of this
little cat, and their favorite part was how he found his way to a new home.
